The Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act  (VEVRAA) regulations require contractors who are required to develop a written affirmative action program (AAP) also establish a hiring benchmark for protected veterans each year. This benchmark is a tool to help contractors assess the effectiveness of their efforts to recruit and employ protected veterans. This course will provide an overview of the options a contractor may use to establish its hiring benchmark.
